Pouring July 2, 2008: Mixing a twist of tech with Haamonii shochu (soju)

WRITTEN BY: WRITTEN ON: July 2. 2008

We’re honored to be able to pour at an upcoming event with SF New Tech founded by Myles Weissleder.

I’ve known Myles for years now and there are few people who are as sincerely giving and nice as he is. We’re very happy to be able to pour for his exponentially growing local events.

If you don’t know about SF New Tech, here is the ‘about’ from the SF New Tech website:

The SF New Tech Meetup is a series of regular events for VCs, journalists, hackers, techies, recruiters, CEOs—and you. It’s for people who want to see the latest and greatest new technology in their own backyard. We’re over 2500 strong—and we don’t bite. We do a Belly Up happy hour every first Wednesday of each month. No demos, just drinks! Come on down! And our monthly sold out SF New Tech events are a little more structured: people/companies get 5 minutes to strut their stuff—and then we get to ask questions, makes pithy comments, and let ‘em know what’s up! The room talks it out and it’s good. It’s great fun, thanks in part to our sponsors Sun, ServePath, Mylermedia, Future-Works, Tractor, VenCore Capital. If you’d like to demo New Tech in front of a room of hundreds of SF tech influencers—apply here!

BBC News: SF New Tech is “a networking event in which the -next big thing- in web developments meets the audience looking out for the hot new tip.”

We are the tech community of SF—come join us.

It’s a great, fun event to mix tech and Haamonii shochu. We hope to see you there!
