7x medalist for taste including an international GOLD medal for shochu presented by the same judges that voted Grey Goose vodka #1.
Gold medal – International Review of Spirits Award – Beverage Testing Institute. “Clear. Rice pudding and lemon tea aromas have a faint mocha edge and follow through on a satiny soft entry to a dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body with with a lemon rice candy and tapioca fade. A very pleasant mixing shochu for juicy cocktails or on its own.”

“91 points” – Anthony Dias Blue, The Tasting Panel Magazine

“…Favorites among two Food and Wine Staff tasters who found both to be light and smooth, with a hint of sweetness” – San Francisco Chronicle.

Multiple medals – San Francisco Worlds Spirits Competition

Recommended by Health Magazine. A lighter cocktail – one of the few brands we like. Perfect for calorie watchers.

Haamonii really is the smoothest shochu I’ve ever tried, and tastes a lot like really good vodka, with a hint of sweetness

Haamonii Smooth shōchū is very crisp and clean, with no abrasiveness. It has a very clean aroma and feels light on the palate, very nice when sipped on the rocks.

Shochu – Cheers with fewer calories: “… [Haamonii Shochu (soju)] comes with the street cred of having earned a bunch of awards”

Sipped neat, I found the Haamonii truly lived up to its name–it’s so incredibly smooth, that the words “liquid cashmere” came to mind. It’s faintly sweet and bright with virtually no alcohol burn. Haamonii also offers a lemon-flavored variety made with natural lemon juice, which is also lovely on its own. Haamonii, or “Harmony,” encourages drinkers to pour for others and not the self, so that you’ll never drink alone. – Selena Ricks, Manhattan Spirits – Examiner
